The SERA2 rocket finally took off this Thursday, April 28th at 14:00! After two postponements, one of yesterday’s bad weather and that of this morning following a non-ignition engine, the SERA2 rocket darted into the polar sky in bright sunshine.
The rocket worked perfectly, the broadcast live onboard video on youtube channel transmited by telemetry has tracked the evolution of the rocket on its trajectory. All other parameters were also broadcast. Both parachutes were fully deployed and the rocket was found without difficulty and brought on the launch base thanks to the helicopter.
The post flight analysis is in operation and the results will be presented to all the PERSEUS and SSC team, followed after a moment of relaxation.
The PERSEUS project would like to thank all the SSC team that allowed the realization of this flight, in conditions both professional and cooperative.
