Within the framework of the research for innovation and realizations, ENSEA, a new collaboration/partner in the list of High School working with PERSEUS, works on the study and the conception of a new cylindrical flat antenna in diameter 160mm for the telemetry of ARES demonstrators.


The innovation compared with the existing, is in particular in the integration of the power distributor in planar technology in the substratum (glass teflon) containing the antenna. This integration saves significantly mass and reduces dimensions. After decisive tests in anechoic chamber, these flat antennas were integrated on PERSEUS rockets in C’Space 2013, and will be integrated on PERSEUS rockets in 2014, in particular on ARES 11 " SERA 1 "
